The problem: How to ensure merchandise is correctly tagged? |
There are two main stages in the merchandise route from the manufacturer to the retailer where the merchandise is most likely to be tagged. The first stage is after manufacture and packaging and prior to shipping to the retailers’ distribution network. For simple disposable tags as shown opposite, tagging by the manufacturer is preferable. For the second stage (in particular for re-usable tags such as shown opposite) it is preferrable to fit the tags at the retail site. |

The Solution: The SDV1112 Hand held EAS Tag detector |
In both situations above the SDV1112-B hand held detector can be a valuable aid to check the merchandise is correctly tagged. The detector has a long range and ample battery capacity to be used in a manufacturing / distribution site or retail store. Simply wave the detector over and around the product and it will confirm that a tag has been fitted and is operating correctly. |
